Janardan has traversed the journey of a corporate career with India’s leading IT companies and moved to  entrepreneurship while being a student of science, music and culture all along!

The first 25 years of professional experience was in the field of IT Infrastructure Management with leading IT services companies in India – HCL, Infosys and Cognizant. He worked in the area of IT Service Management and Automation since 2005 and led the practices for these services at two of industry’s leading SI’s. These stints created new service offerings that opened up significant business opportunities and along the way, built teams of world class competency. In doing so, Janardan was also instrumental in building partnerships with leading ITSM & Automation companies such as BMC, HP and Service Now and dealing with several large enterprises for their implementation and support requirements.

Janardan went entrepreneurial in 2015 and started a company to nurture ServiceNow competency. The company started as Punch IT, entered and exited a joint venture with TESM, UK and was finally acquired and rechristened in 2024 as CtrlAltNow. Janardan also started Vayam Business Solutions for diverse collaborations and out of the box ideas!

Janardan has an Engineering degree in Electronics and Communications, a management diploma and industry certifications in technology, quality systems, and process frameworks.
